Use of devices
The teacher may use a personal mobile phone and/or computer during lessons for educational and professional purposes.
This will include supervised use of educational apps and software with pupils, keeping evidence of pupil progress and communication with pupil parents/carers.
Photography and video
Where photo and video consent is given by parents/carers, photographs and videos of individual pupils may be taken during lessons.
Photos and videos may be used for
– in-lesson training and analysis
– demonstrating learning to the pupil’s parents
– digital examinations
– promotional use on the studio website and the studio’s other social media platforms.
Storage
Any devices used to store images or sensitive information are secured with password and/or biometric protection.
